Endlessly, tirelessly,
over the mountains,
across the valley's,
over villages, cities and capitals,
Into rivers, oceans and puddles,
Selflessly, it rains, it rains, it rains ....

Across faces smiling and drenched,
Over roads and highwyas,
cracked off the scorching sun,
into courtyards of warm homes,

Endlessly, tirelessly
Across heavens and god's doors,
forsaken and tyrannical lands too,
Into forest greens and flower grasslands,
Selflessly, it rains, it rains and it rains ..

Across my mind,my thoughts and actions
Into my heart, caressing my soul
and making me powerless!
Ah! Sometimes to make her smile and dance,
Sometimes to make me sulk and hide my cry,
